Vicky discovers a newspaper article that exposes the peril she faces with Wainwright. In a fit of rage, Wainwright terrorizes her, compelling her to impersonate her mother. Meanwhile, Lance and Melissa celebrate their wedding reception, hosted by a reluctant Angela, stirring mixed feelings among the guests. Tensions rise as Chase and Melissa clash over Joseph. Lance attempts to persuade his father to back his investment in Melissa's winery, but Tony chooses to support Chase instead. Emma's date, Richard, reveals to Angela that Tuscany Downs is set for condemnation. A heated argument erupts between Peter and Angela over her missing checks, and when Maggie confronts Richard about his article on Wainwright, Chase intervenes with violence.
