Vincent is back at work, while Gillian, feeling anxious, reluctantly agrees to let Donna babysit Ned so she and Peter can enjoy a romantic anniversary dinner. Meanwhile, Amy instantly clashes with Lolly's husband after she accepts a dinner invitation. Russell's mother pleads with him to help her remember her son's final moments, prompting Vincent to sift through police recordings in an attempt to recall what happened. Amy also grapples with the consequences for a teen convicted of unintentionally killing a classmate. Maxine frustrates Sean by distributing condoms during a birth control class she teaches on her own time. Lastly, Amy is devastated to realize she was wrong to dismiss a stalking report as trivial.
