Chip and Polly decide to set up a joint bank account, and Chip takes a job as a box boy at a local supermarket to save up for their upcoming wedding. After a heated exchange with her father, Polly shows up at the Douglases with her suitcase in tow. However, when Chip rejects her suggestion to run away together, she angrily leaves.
