Episode Overview
Mr. Humphries reveals his newfound talent for palm reading and predicting the future. He foresees that Captain Peacock will soon be “climbing the ladder and sporting a new hat.” Everyone interprets this as a sign of a promotion, particularly with a position opening up on the Board of Directors, which Mr. Rumbold is poised to fill. Captain Peacock is confident he’ll be stepping into Mr. Rumbold’s role. This revelation leads the entire department to daydream about their own potential advancements.
