Following their father's recent divorce, Sandy and Michael head to California to visit him. Grandpa Lloyd has chosen a life on a boat and dreams of sailing to Tahiti, a notion that Sandy strongly opposes. At the same time, David joins the crew of a movie being filmed on the beach.
