Concurrently, the shooting deaths of two local troublemakers in Midsomer Worthy lead to the arrest of a homeless man named Tom. While Troy investigates these murders, Barnaby delves into an unresolved case. Among the ancient skeletons uncovered, one stands out as surprisingly recent.
