Twenty-five years after her son took his own life due to relentless bullying, Jill Craig seeks vengeance against his tormentor, Scott Martin. Under the guise of friendship, she hires Scott for various tasks, spending months gaining his trust while secretly plotting his downfall. Jill cleverly places her jewelry in his shed, ensuring his fingerprints are on it, and alters her will to make him the beneficiary, creating a motive for him. Ultimately, she takes her own life in a way that frames Scott for her murder, leading to his wrongful conviction and life sentence based on her meticulously crafted evidence.
