As Helena approaches the end of her life, PJ is desperate to find ways to keep her alive. When she declines radiation therapy, he pursues alternative treatments, while Chris, Tom, and their friends urge him to accept that it's time for her to pass. Helena wishes for him to embrace Death, leading to further conflict as she turns to faith, something PJ struggles with. Nevertheless, she prays for him, hoping to guide him in finding clarity. Meanwhile, Benny Matthews is entangled in a controversial relationship with a 15-year-old girl, much to her father's fury. When PJ confronts Benny, urging him to end the relationship, it only fuels her rebellion, prompting her to move in with him. The Heelers and Kimberley’s father fear that Benny might introduce the girl to drugs.
