Hoping to secure a higher-paying job, Eb signs up for an accounting program at a correspondence school. However, a mix-up lands him in an acting class instead, which he takes as a sign from fate. Though his first try at makeup turns out poorly, he creatively learns by transforming mundane experiences into theatrical performances. A dull dinner turns into an extravagant feast with King Louis XIV, where Lisa plays the role of his clumsy servant.
