Episode Overview
The valley is buzzing with the arrival of Jeremiah Priddy, a staunch advocate for temperance. Meanwhile, Betty Jo notices a shy little boy named Clint shadowing her, even following her to the hotel. Concerned for his well-being, she and her friends set out to uncover his background, only to discover that Clint is the runaway son of Mr. Priddy. As they meet Mr. Priddy, they find him to be rather harsh and unwelcoming, especially towards his son, much like his views on drinking. However, Kate begins to see a different side of Mr. Priddy and decides to use this newfound understanding to help mend the bond between him and Clint.
