Meanwhile, Riley grapples with the expectations from his parents to conform to a straight identity. He initially asks Zane to play along but ultimately decides against it, leading to their breakup. K.C. realizes that his job is interfering with both his education and family life and contemplates quitting. Yet, Marisol surprises him with a raise, sparking some mutual flirtation between them.
