S2E12 Carol's Problem (a.k.a.) The Wedding Gift

With the wedding date approaching, Maude chooses to surprise Carol and Chris by presenting their wedding gift ahead of time. They’re both taken aback when Maude reveals she has made a down payment on a house for them. The shock intensifies when they learn it’s situated directly across the street. This revelation quickly ignites tension within the family, causing friction between mother and daughter, as well as between the soon-to-be husband and wife.
