A regular call takes a dramatic turn when two members of the team stumble upon a bomb, prompting an urgent evacuation. However, Mac and Flack, along with a few others, remain inside when the bomb goes off. Following the explosion, the CSI team finds themselves in a frantic search for the bomber while grappling with the potential loss of one of their own. Meanwhile, Mac must confront the haunting memory of a Marine's death he witnessed in Beirut back in 1983.
