Mac answers a call from someone confessing to a long-ago murder, but the caller takes their own life during the conversation. This leads the team to a football stadium where they discover a body, revealing that the deceased was connected to the Tanglewood gang. They also uncover a cigarette that complicates matters for Danny when his DNA is discovered on it, jeopardizing his career. Meanwhile, Stella and Danny look into the murder of a businessman who had been involved with a high-end escort service.
