Shortly after departing from New York's JFK Airport, TWA Flight 800 is devastated by a catastrophic explosion. In response to the potential threat of terrorism, the FBI collaborates with NTSB investigators in a frantic quest for the truth. Both organizations are eager for swift conclusions, but the inquiry into TWA Flight 800 soon leads to conflict between them, evolving into one of the most prolonged, expensive, and complex investigations in aviation history.
