Jeff invites Eddie to join the faculty basketball team, but unbeknownst to Jeff, Eddie struggles with the game despite his tall stature. This creates a dilemma, as Eddie had previously deceived Joy about his basketball skills during their relationship, never revealing the truth about his lack of ability.
