Episode Overview

Lana and Lionel rendezvous in secrecy, but the meeting takes a dark turn when Lana is shot. Meanwhile, as Jimmy reviews images from the incident, he is unexpectedly attacked and knocked out. While unconscious, Jimmy experiences a vivid dream of Smallville in the 1940s. In this alternate reality, Clark works as a journalist at the Daily Planet, Lana is a femme fatale plotting against her wealthy husband Lex, and Lois captivates audiences as a singer in a bar owned by Lionel.
