In this episode, Dr. Carson Beckett, now a wandering physician in the Pegasus galaxy, discovers a village inhabited by refugees from Balar, a world ravaged by the Hoffan drug and the Wraith. The peaceful community faces a dire threat when the Wraith descend upon them, demanding that they surrender the Balarians or risk obliteration of their entire civilization. As tensions rise, Beckett must navigate the perilous situation to protect the vulnerable villagers from impending doom.
