The scheme backfires, leaving Julia heartbroken when she discovers the truth behind the offer. As Cole flees to escape murder charges for Carlo Agretti's death, Melissa opts for a second autopsy on her father's remains, hoping it will exonerate Cole. The findings indicate that the murderer was right-handed, leading to the dismissal of the charges against Cole.
