Meanwhile, in England, Flash, Lothar, and the Phantom fall prey to Kronos, a sinister dark entity, and are transformed into stone figures. Mandrake seeks wisdom from his former mentor, Theron, who reveals that Kronos is a vile creature responsible for banishing the powerful magician, Enigma, from the Land of Magic, leading to its devastation.
