As the ailing Observer visits Walter and Peter, they are compelled to take drastic actions to uncover the hidden truths he possesses and to find out the whereabouts of Olivia. In a parallel struggle, David Robert Jones resorts to tormenting Nina in an effort to manipulate Olivia into utilizing her cortexiphan powers.
