Episode Overview

Following the announcement of Peter and Devon Sloan's wedding, Christine finds herself in a deep slump. Devon, the hotel’s interior designer, begins to disrupt hotel operations, but Christine's attempts to alert Peter of the negative impact fall on deaf ears. Frustrated, she resigns, leaving Peter to realize her immense worth too late. He eventually concludes that he and Devon aren't compatible and persuades her to leave. Meanwhile, Peter's lingering feelings for Christine become evident when he pleads for her return. Additionally, Cliff Phillips, the new assistant manager, rekindles his friendship with Joe Duran and Tom Conner, the aggressive jury foreman, who had a serious motive for their reunion after their jury acquitted a suspected serial killer.
