As summer draws to a close, Seth remains absent from Newport. While Sandy and Kirsten tackle home renovations, the couple feels the weight of their son's absence. Meanwhile, Ryan is settling into his new life with Theresa in Chino, leaving Marissa feeling isolated and struggling in a difficult emotional state. Although Summer is gradually moving on from Seth, the lingering effects of their relationships cast a shadow over everyone.
