In July 1934, Chicago is buzzing with anonymous tips guiding Ness and his team towards narcotics operations, leading to several successful raids. However, on August 4, despite a dip in sales, Frank Nitti places an unprecedented order for 15 kilos of heroin. Later that evening, one of Nitti's associates conducts the exchange, trading cash for the drugs. He climbs into a car driven by another member of Nitti's crew, Manny Kravitz.
