S05E14 Cats in the Cradle
Episode Overview
Dwayne feels a surge of jealousy over Whitley’s new boyfriend, especially after she hints that they might be intimate. To distract him, Ron suggests they go to the big Hillman vs. Virginia A football game. However, Ron ends up selling his ticket to a scalper and watches the game from his car instead. As he sits there, three white students from Virginia A walk by, and one instigates trouble. Ron makes a bet with them on the game, conveniently omitting that their quarterback is sick. When Hillman dominates early in the fourth quarter, the students pay up without dispute. Ron teases them, suggesting their team should recruit more players of color. While one of the students wants to drop it, his friends start spray-painting a racial slur on Ron's car. A fight breaks out, and Dwayne rushes in to help. Eventually, campus security intervenes and threatens to arrest them unless they explain the situation.
