Becker advocates for the hiring of a security expert to create a "safe room" for the staff, only to find himself locked inside it with Denise after hours. Meanwhile, Kelsey and Halliday clash in court while defending Karl Bullon, a self-righteous department store owner accused by a former employee of spying on her during an affair with a colleague. During the trial, Halliday gains valuable insight while questioning a witness. Additionally, Rollins chooses to represent Glassman and searches for a former Black Panther member to testify, leading to heated debates with Markowitz over the political implications of the case.
