Luke, the charming jock, invites Cassie to the school dance, and after witnessing Adam enjoying himself with Diana at the boathouse, she decides to say yes. Meanwhile, Melissa views the dance as a chance to get closer to Nick. In contrast, Faye has no intention of attending and is instead concentrating on mastering her abilities. Dawn learns that someone from their past, a mysterious man named Zachary, has returned and is inquiring about Cassie and the Circle. Concerned, she asks Charles to keep tabs on him.
