Following her mother's tragic death in a fire, Cassie Blake relocates to Chance Harbor, Washington, to live with her grandmother. As she navigates her new high school and befriends her classmates, eerie and unsettling occurrences start to unfold. Unbeknownst to her, these peers are descendants of witches eagerly anticipating Cassie's arrival to form a new generation of the Secret Circle.
