Ben rescues a drug dealer, who ends up in Ward 17, where he bothers Luke, knowing about his incarcerated brother. Meanwhile, Connor's social activities start to interfere with his work as he confronts Dr. Wu regarding a patient's treatment plan. After her husband's passing, Sophie comes back to nursing and is placed in Ward 17, but Terri worries about her emotional state. Additionally, Connor decides to allow Jared to move in with him.
