Emergency dispatch took a call from a man claiming that his girlfriend had taken her own life with a gun. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered the victim in the caller's home, surrounded by a pool of blood and the firearm lying nearby. However, the autopsy indicated that the gunshot wound wasn’t self-inflicted, and the evidence collected from her body presented law enforcement with a crucial chance to identify her murderer.
