When Nick and his brother, Jimmy, receive an unexpected call to work, Nick has no choice but to bring along the younger boys, T.J. and Kyle, to the fire station. This leaves Sam, Jack, and Chris home alone. Recently, the boys discovered that people often give free items to firefighters in uniform as a gesture of appreciation. With Jimmy just having delivered a batch of Nick's freshly cleaned uniforms from the dry cleaners, the boys connect the dots, leading to a whirlwind of mischief and chaos.
