Nick eagerly anticipates Thanksgiving, his favorite holiday, but his excitement wanes when Sam chooses to celebrate with his girlfriend Angela's family, whom he views as more refined. Their plans quickly change when Nick and Jimmy receive an emergency call for a fire. Determined to surprise Nick, the boys attempt to prepare Thanksgiving dinner by themselves. They search online for a turkey recipe and stumble upon a safety tips video featuring Officer Cox. However, with no turkeys left in stores, they resort to buying a live one, leading to unexpected chaos. Meanwhile, Sam discovers that Angela's seemingly perfect family harbors hidden complexities.
