Sean and Beverly are caught in a heated argument with Matt when he insists on receiving writing credit for their new series. Both parties stand firm in their positions; they believe they originated the concept, but Matt argues he provided the supplies to write it. Meanwhile, Carol makes the decision to step away from the entertainment industry, returning to Michigan to raise her child independently. However, prior to her departure, she takes legal action against Helen and the network, filing a lawsuit for sexual harassment.
