UCOS decides to revisit the case of Sean Docherty, a gifted young poet whose charred remains were found a decade ago in the scrapyard owned by a notorious gangster. While Standing believes the murder is linked to Docherty's ties to the underworld, Lane is convinced that the key to solving the case can be found within his poetry.
