After witnessing the Cartwrights bravely thwart an attempted robbery on a stagecoach, an author decides to write about their heroism. However, when Ben and Adam dismiss the idea, believing that fame from the story holds no value, the writer is left without their support. Undeterred, he approaches the sheriff, who eagerly embraces the opportunity to be part of the tale.
