Episode Overview
Mister Rogers starts his day peacefully on the porch, awaiting Bob Trow's arrival with his dog. While he waits, he sings "It's a Perfectly Beautiful Day." Mrs. McFeely unexpectedly visits with a parrot in a cage. Shortly thereafter, Bob Trow arrives with his dog, Barney, whom he leaves with Mister Rogers for the evening. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Bob Dog is getting ready for a birthday photo surprise for Ana Platypus. Daniel feels disheartened about his homemade gift, a Magic Electronic Supersonic Firemobile, and seeks help from Corney and Handyman Negri. Meanwhile, Mr. McFeely delivers a parrot to King Friday, who decides to send it back when it fails to address him properly, opting instead for his own beloved pet, Troglodytes Aedon.
