Episode Overview
On New Year's Eve, Bean throws a party for his pals Rupert and Hubert, but it doesn't take long for them to realize that the festivities next door are far more exciting, leading them to cleverly convince Bean to let them leave. The next morning, on New Year's Day, Bean heads to a department store sale, where he picks up some new tools and a giant recliner. He has a rather unconventional method of getting home, and once there, he decides to tackle painting his flat himself, kicking off the new year with a splash.
