When he attempts to halt a speeding car, the son of an ex-cop and a friend of Captain Greer finds himself accused of car theft. It soon surfaces that the vehicle, owned by a campaign worker for a judicial candidate, was implicated in a hit-and-run incident. To dig deeper into the situation, the trio goes undercover at the candidate's campaign office.
