Mobster Frank Egan abducts the daughter of one of Dan's friends, leveraging her as a hostage to compel Dan and his team to liberate a crucial witness against him, Augie Gorman. After several unsuccessful attempts, Barney successfully taints Gorman's water in the police-protected hotel safehouse. The team takes control of a hospital room, utilizing a rotating examination table to swap Gorman with IMF member Steve, who bears a striking resemblance to him. During the swap, Egan attempts to betray Dan, but the IMF leader has his own clever strategies to ensure the plan unfolds smoothly, ensuring Gorman faces justice.
