The ongoing conflict between Mary and Cathy escalates, leading to a fierce confrontation between Martha and George. Merle pays a visit to Mary, asking for a personal item that he believes will help him regain his "force." Meanwhile, the police raid the gypsy camp and arrest Cookie, who remains loyal to Pat.
