Episode Overview

While Norman Curtis, the President of C&FW Railroad, enjoys his European getaway, he has made it clear that no changes should be made to the Cannonball. Meanwhile, Homer Bedloe hatches a plot to permanently halt the train’s operations without violating Curtis' directive. His strategy involves securing a position as Superintendent of the Cannonball, where he intends to impose an unachievable efficiency program. Bedloe anticipates that Charley and Floyd will eventually surrender. However, Kate and the crew attend the stockholders meeting, armed with a secret strategy to thwart Bedloe’s ambitions.
