Upon discovering that a security breach persists within the CIA, Sandy clashes with Jeanne Vertefeuille, the senior officer tasked with a comprehensive assessment of their operations. Jeanne's involvement adds to Ames' anxiety, as he faces mounting demands from the Soviets for additional intel. Meanwhile, at home, Ames is torn between his affection for his wife, Rosario, and the challenges of managing her extravagant spending habits.
