S2E33 Invitation to Death

While visiting Los Angeles with his daughter and aide, the California governor is ambushed and narrowly avoids death. He is brought to the de la Vega residence to recuperate but remains too frail to travel for several days. Capitan Arrellanos, his aide, confides in Diego that he believes the assault was orchestrated by the Rebatos, a faction aiming to break away from Spanish rule.
