Episode Overview

Two indentured servants in love dream of tying the knot, but discover they need their masters' approval to do so. Buena, employed at the de la Vega hacienda, receives the green light to marry. Unfortunately, her partner Romaldo faces a different fate. A rival coworker, who also has his eyes set on Buena, manipulates their employer into believing that Romaldo intends to escape after the wedding, jeopardizing their hopes for a future together.
