Evelyn Fox’s son, a father of four, was shot while trying to assist a friend in danger. Shauna Brown lost her son to a drive-by shooting while he played on the front steps with his two-year-old daughter. Barbara Gill’s son was killed when a car pulled up alongside him and someone opened fire. It’s a tragic group no mother wishes to join. These mothers of murdered sons face the painful reality that the killers remain free, with insufficient evidence for police to make arrests. They desperately need a witness to come forward, but breaking the code of silence is a daunting challenge.
