Episode Overview

David Gilliam juggled multiple jobs to provide for his family while pursuing his ambition of becoming a firefighter and EMT. Just one state test away from earning his instructor coordinator license, his life was tragically cut short. Following his passing, Maryann discovered through the autopsy that their home’s basement was filled with hazardous levels of toxic spores. Concerned for their health, her doctor urged Maryann and her six children to leave the house. In the wake of David’s death, the community has come together to support the family, and they are currently staying with Maryann’s sister.
