Rinko receives the heartbreaking news of her mother’s passing, who had set out on a journey during her remaining days. Accompanied by Nami, she travels to a village in Bolivia, questioning why her mother chose this location for her final farewell. Confronting her mother's body, Rinko finds a way to mend their fractured relationship. At the same time, Officer Kurosaki reveals to Nami that Yukito, previously presumed dead, might actually still be alive.
