Montiek, a peculiar creature and former ally of Skeletor's Council of Evil, arrives at Snake Mountain accompanied by a band of ancient Earth warriors. His goal is to gather formidable fighters from across the universe for his Fortress of Champions, intending to enslave them. Montiek aims to ensnare He-Man in Eternia by designing a series of challenging trials for him to complete. Skeletor secretly hopes He-Man will succeed, believing this will finally eliminate his rival. However, he realizes that capturing He-Man will prove to be far more difficult than Montiek anticipates...
