Rowena Bain's lifeless body is found in a wooded area. While the forensic analysis points to suicide, Detective Taggart has doubts. Rowena's sister believes that her brother-in-law, Maurice, is responsible for her death. The investigation takes a darker turn when it comes to light that Maurice's first wife also vanished under perplexing circumstances, raising further suspicions about him.
