Episode Overview

Mrs. Drysdale is eager to evict the Clampetts before Mrs. Smith-Standish, the leader of a prestigious historical society, arrives. However, Smith-Standish visits the Clampetts first and becomes captivated by their unique antiques and lifestyle. During her visit, she uncovers proof that Jed's ancestors arrived in America before the Mayflower. Enthralled by their heritage, she enlists Mrs. Drysdale's reluctant help with traditional chores, much to Mrs. Drysdale's dismay.
